Lara Dutta

Lara Dutta the Indian Bollywood actress is UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador and Miss Universe 2000. Lara Dutta won the annual Gladrags modelling competition in her native India. Later, Lara Dutta was crowned Femina Miss India Universe and Miss Universe in 2000.

In the same year, Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza won their respective Miss World and Miss Asia Pacific titles which gave India a rare triple victory in the world of beauty pageants.

First Lara Dutta signed up to do the Tamil film, Arasatchi in 2002, but due to financial problems, it only released in mid-2004. Lara made her Hindi debut in 2003 with the film Andaaz which was a box office success and for which she won a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.

Lara Dutta then appeared in a number of films, some of which failed at the box office and some of which were mildly successful. Her box office "hits" include Masti (2004), Kaal (2005), No Entry (2005) and Partner (2007). In 2006, she starred in the comedy, Bhagam Bhag which did well at the box office.

Lara's 2007 released Shaad Ali's Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was a box office failure in India but did better overseas, especially in the U.K. Lara Dutta received mixed reviews for her performance in the film. Her later release, Partner opened to a good response and became a hit at the box office.

The other releases of the actress are Do Knot Disturb which is releasing on October 02, 2009, Blue all set for it's release on October 16, 2009. 2010 Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai, Housefull and Aur Devdas.

Bollywood Actress-Jiah Khan

Jiah Khan was born on 20 February 1988. Jiah is an Indian film actress who appears in Bollywood movies. Jiah Khan completed her A levels in film studies and literature in London. She also studied at the Lee Strasberg Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, though she quit upon receiving a movie offer from Mumbai.

When the actress was 16 years old, she was assigned to debut in Mukesh Bhatt's Tumsa Nahin Dekha, but backed out when she felt the role was too mature for her and was immediately replaced by Dia Mirza.

In 2006, Jiah debuted in the controversial Nishabd, where she acted opposite Amitabh Bachchan. The film was released in March 2007 to mixed reviews, though Khan was noted for her confidence, attitude. She also got a "Filmfare Best Debutant" Nomination for her Acting skills.

Jiah Khan appeared alongside Aamir Khan in A.R. Murugadoss's Ghajini, the Hindi remake of its Tamil namesake. She was shot for a significant portion of Ken Ghosh directed film "Yahoo" opposite Shahid Kapoor, but was replaced by Genelia D'souza.

Despite this, UTV Motion Pictures subsequently signed the actress for a two-film deal; Ghajini producer Madhu Mantena signed her for a 3-film deal shortly after.

is a true India beauty. She is today a well accomplished actress in the Bollywood film industry though earlier she was tagged as a Aishwarya rai look alike. She must have never thought that her fate has so much of fame stored in for her. She was born on December
9, 1981. This 5'6" tall girl bagged Miss India crown in 2000 and is now employed as a well-known film actress.She also won the Miss Asia Pacific in the same year at Manila in Philippines.

Her father died when she was just nine years old. Dia's mother Deepa Mirja was remarried to Ahmad Mirza, whose surname Dia Mirza took.

She was a introvert kind of girl working as a marketing executive at Sriven Multi-tech in Hyderabad. She earned a monthly salary of Rs. 5000, with a 15 per cent commission on every ad revenue She fetched for the company. She however did an advertising campaign which appeared in Femina. After the pictures came out she was encouraged to participate in the Miss India competition. That's when her success story began.

Her first film, opposite Madhavan - Rehaana Hai Tere Dil Mein did not make a big splash. But it spelt one thing - Diya Mirza had arrived.

After winning the title of Miss India World and later becoming Miss World 2000, Chopra made her acting debut with the Tamil film Thamizhan (2002). The following year, she made her Bollywood debut with Anil Sharma's The Hero: Love Story of a Spy.

She was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand to Ashok Chopra and Madhu Akhauri, both doctors by profession. Chopra spent her childhood in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, in Newton, Massachusetts and in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her father was in the army and thus her family moved quite frequently. Her father hailed from a family of Punjabi origin, settled in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and her mother comes from a Bihari Kayastha family settled in Jamshedpur. She also has a brother, Siddharth , who is seven years younger than her.

Chopra studied at St. Maria Goretti in Bareilly and La Martiniere Girls' School in Lucknow as a young girl. These frequent re-locations took place as Ashok was a doctor in the Indian Army. She subsequently re-located to the U.S. where she studied in Newton's Newton South High School in Newton, Massachusetts and then in Cedar Rapid's John F. Kennedy High School in Massachusetts and Iowa respectively. She returned to India and did her high school at Army School in Bareilly. She began college at Jai Hind College in Mumbai but left after winning the Miss World pageant.

Chopra was crowned Miss India World and later Miss World in 2000. In the same year, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza, both also from India, won the Miss Universe and Miss Asia Pacific crowns, in a rare triple victory for one country.

When Chopra won the Miss World crown, she became the fifth Indian woman to win the title, and the fourth Indian woman to win in a span of seven years.
