Bhanu Priya was a former leading actress of the Telugu film industry, Malayalam, Tamil from 1980 to 1993 and she also acted in Bollywood films in the 1990s. Bhanupriya began her film career when she was just 14 years old. Bhanupriya is also part of Mani Ratnam's stage show Netru, Indru, Naalai.


Banupriya's excellent Bharathanatyam dancing skills are much appreciated in her movies The actress who is now based in Chennai is also looking forward to direct a film , with classical dance as lead role.

Koena Mitra

The sizzling Bollywood actress Koena Mitra was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. Koena Mitra attended South Point High School and Lady Brabourne College in Calcutta where she completed her studies. The actress was also trained under the Mamata Shankar ballet troupe for 12 years.



This Bollywood actress made her film debut with an item number in Ram Gopal Verma’s Road. Then she was offered a small role to play in the flick Musafir. Koena Mitra also did the lead role in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena which was directed by Suparn Verma opposite Fardeen Khan.

World Music Awards - Jennifer Lopez - May 18 2010

When I learned that Jennifer Lopez would be attending the “2010 World Music Awards” in Monaco, I was really excited to see what she was going to wear considering her superb current form. Unfortunately I was face with enough animal print to make Sharon Stone and Bet Lynch go weak at the knees. Her whole look for the evening was a bit dated. We’ve all seen this plunging leopard-print Roberto Cavalli gown so many times before. It reminds me of a look from the Spring 2006 collection. I think Jennifer was trying to recreate her “Versace Grammy’s” moment here, but she failed. A snakeskin Daniel Swarovski clutch added insult to injury. Her performance look wasn’t any better. In fact it was worse. The glittery dress with the keyhole detail and silk grey hem is wrong on so many levels.I feel like she was trying to give us Jlo, but it’s more J-No. More images after the break...

Salma Agha

Salma Agha a popular singer from Pakistan also acted in Indian films in the 80s and the early 90s. Salma Agha won the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award in 1982 for the ghazal "Dil ke Armaan" in Nikaah.


The actress hails from a very profound family of famous actress Anwari Begum who played the character of Heer in the first ever Punjabi film in the Indian sub-continent Heer Ranjha in the year 1932.

Salma Agha along with her sister Sabina produced as well as sang for a record called AGHA. Most prominent directors of Indian cinema including big names like B.R. Chopra roped in Salma to play the character of Neelofar in his movie Talaq Talaq Talaq (later which was titled as Nikah) which helped the actress to make her mark in Bollywood.

With this successful debut Salma earned a Filmfare nomination as Best Actress. Salma also worked in Pakistani movies.

Sanjana Kapoor

Sanjana Kapoor is an Indian theatre personality as well as former Indian film actress. She has been running the Prithvi theater in Mumbai since the year 1993. Since her childhood she was fond of acting and frequently used to go to the Prithvi theater in Juhu. She also attended the Bombay International Scool in Mumbai.

She belongs to the famous family of Kapoors of Bollywood. She is the daughter of Shashi Kapoor and Jennifer Kendal. She is also the grand daughter of Prithviraj Kapoor. Karan Kapoor and Kunal Kapoor are the two brothers of Sanjana.

She was the first female of Kapoors family to step into the acting career. Her career was not successful. Her debut movie was 36 Chowringhee Lane. This movie was produced by her father Shashi Kapoor. She also did the other movies like Hero Hiralal, Bollywood, Utsav etc. but allthese movies could not make it hit at the box office and Sanjan’s career could not move towards success.

ICSE Results to be declared today on www.cisce.org

ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination) will be declaring the results of ICSE (Class 10) 2010 and ISC (Class 12) 2010 today (19th May 2010) at about 15:00 hrs or 3:00 pm IST on the website www.cisce.org. As expected the www.cisce.org website is down from this morning signalling that the results are getting uploaded and changes are being made to the website to announce the ICSE results.

As a matter of fact 1,567 ICSE schools across India and about 35,000 students from the city are anxiously waiting for the ICSE results from the board today. Many students are expected to be affected once the results are out since the ICSE results have a direct impact on their future life path. The ICSE 2010 exams were conducted in the month of March 2010 across schools in India and abroad affiliated to the ICSE board.

One may recall that last year round there were a couple of problems faced by the students and also the ICSE authorities due to heavy web traffic and eventually the website crashed. Once the ICSE website crashed the students were scrambled to get to know their results. Hopefully we feel that this year the ICSE board authorities have taken into consideration the problem of heavy web traffic and would be publishing the ICSE 2010 results simultaneously on various websites. Keerthi Reddy

Keerthi Reddy is not so popular Bollywood actress but she is famous for her Telugu movies. This Indian actress was born on November 17 in the year 1978. She is also a Tamil as well as Telugu actress. After the Maniacs' nonstop punk ran its course, guitarist A. L. Shaw's Physicals adopted a more glam stance, at least on their "All Sexed Up" EP. The storming "Breakdown on Stage" sets the tone by saluting the New York Dolls ( in words, and riffs ) while Shaw indulges some choice Thunders-style plectrum swipes on the slower, yet equally intense "You Do Me In." But there's more to the story on this compilation, whose finest hour is "Be Like Me," a thunderous, anthemic slice of punk boosted by former Sex Pistol Paul Cook's production and drumming involvement. (Incredibly, "Be Like Me" and its B-side, "Pain in Love," sat unreleased for a year after the original session, until Big Beat finally issued both songs in 1980.) Eleven of the 17 tracks here are unreleased, which is a shame; they're prime slices of '70s second-wave melodic punk. Highlights include the Iggy Pop-ish drive of "I Got a Feeling" and "Crying in the Alley"; the stinging "Time's Up"; and "Engine of Romance," which features a great sax solo. Taut versions of Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" and Shaw's fist-in the-air rocker "Should Have Been You" flash tantalizing glimmers of the band's live prowess, while covers of the '60s garage nuggets "Get Me to the World on Time" and the Music Machine's "Talk Talk" inject some fun into the proceedings. Although the Physicals never rose above their parochial obscurity (their career highlight was an Irish tour supporting heavy metal kings Thin Lizzy) this effort remains a must-own glimpse of a lost band's unfulfilled potential. Bhagyashree

This actress started her on screen career with "Kachhi Dhoop" which was a popular t.v. serial by Amol Palekar. It was based on Lousia Mary Alcott's "Little Women". The serial did well and later on she had roles in Honi Anhoni and Kisse Miya Biwi Ke. Her debut movie was Maine Pyaar Kiya and Now you got her! Of course she is Bhgyashree.


Her Movie Maine Pyaar Kiya was a super hit with Salman Khan. She soon got married and after that she acted in three movies: Peepat's Qaid Main Hai Bulbul, K.C. Bokadia's Tyagi and Mahendra Shah's Payal all opposite her husband Himalaya. Yes , that is true that her husband Himalaya Dasani as well as Bhagyashree had decided that after marriage Bhagyashree will act only in those movies which will have her husband opposite to her. However all these movies sank without a trace. Then came a gap in career for the actress.

Bhagyashree eventually made a comeback after a gap of few years and this time round it was back to television with 'Aandhi Jasbaton Ki' where she plays a politician. The actress was also seen on Doordarshan’s serial Didi Ka Dulha, a comedy serial. She made her debut in Marathi films with romantic comedy 'Zhak Marli Baiko Keli' in June 2009

She is the promoter of a media company called "Shrishti Entertainment" with joint promoter with her husband. Bhagyashree was born on 23 February 1969 and hails from the family of Patwardhans from Maharashtra. The actress has now got three children also.

Valve has finally managed today to rather officially give us the Steam client for Mac. This is simply some superb news for Mac users since they get the 'free to play' Portal game and also a vast library of 63 games too for the Mac platform.

Valve says that in order to celebrate the Mac launch, it will be giving away free copies of Portal to anyone who downloads Steam between today and May 24, 2010. For all the existing steam users who don't still have a copy of the game yet they can simply click on the install button on the game's Store page to get it now!!.

Steam being pushed into the Mac platform will surely open loads of opportunities for Valve. Valve can now easily expand the current customer base for its games distribution service. "Surcharge, assurément l'un des plus puissants bands du Québec, a vu le jour lorsque deux enfoirés de Québec, amoureux du rock dur ( F. Lewis , le "guitar-hero" et F. Volum , le râleur gratteux de Fender) décidèrent de former un super band de rock électrique.
Ils recrutèrent d'abord B. Wabo à la batterie, une véritable brute déchaînée destinée à détruire toutes les cymbales et les peaux qui se trouvent sur son passage. Ils optèrent ensuite pour C. Car à la basse, un louche individu, préalablement rencontré lors des virées nocturnes de Frank Volum dans les pires trous à rats.
Surcharge roule donc son rock solide depuis près de cinq ans partout dans la province, mais c'est seulement en mai 2004 que le quatuor s'est finalement décidé à lancer un premier essai "Rock & Roll Motherfuckers". Le percutant album, a reçu un accueil du tonnerre auprès des critiques et du public en quête de bon vieux rock'n'roll bien garage aux influences seventies. Ce disque bilingue, a permis au groupe de se tailler une place bien méritée parmi les meilleurs du genre au Québec, tant pour l'album en soit que pour ses prestations scéniques enflammées. Les deux extraits tirés de cet album, "Populaire" et "Il faut que ça cogne!" ont fait bonne figure sur un grand nombre de radios rock du Québec.Surcharge fait penser par moment (en plus heavy) à un autre canadien qu'on aime beaucoup ici! Pagliaro sortit en 1975 un formidable album simplement intitulé (("Pagliaro") qu'il doubla par une version anglaise légèrement différente ("Pagliaro I"). Un lp chargé jusqu'à la gueule de rocks teigneux dont "Louise", "J'entends frapper", la cover francophone du "Riot In Cell Block N° 9" des fabuleux Coasters ... ("Y'a une émeute dans la prison...On va foncer ce s'ra pas long ..."). Remember ?
